We created an event and had 2 of our admins register for the event as a test.
We went live with the event and later deleted these 2 from the attendees list.
However, when we export the excel report, these 2 attendees are still shown on the report.
How can I remove these deleted attendees from the report?
Any idea as to what caused this?

By default a deleted attendee is removed from the database, so it shouldnt appear on any reports. Have you checked the database to confirm if they are still there? Can you create fake attendee, and check the database, delete and check again. Just trying to see if there is something blocking deletion in the database.
No caching plugins installed.
Yes I did test it by registering for the event myself, viewing the report and deleting. So it seems like it is working properly now.
Yes I checked the database, the entries are there.
I’m looking at the “wp_events_attendee” table. Is it safe to delete the rows in this table? Will that fix the report?
Yes it should be fine, but please back up your database before modifying it in case you need to revert back.
