I am testing my event registration and after I changed prices, it locked my tickets. I deleted the test registrations but it still won’t allow me to unlock and delete those tickets. How can I get rid of those?
Can you just delete the entire record for the ticket if there aren’t any registrations associated? After my testing, I deleted all the registrations for the event and then created another ticket since the original was locked. But I would like to remove the old one and not edit it like the tutorial mentions.
The ticket has a lock on it as it has been archived. Editing the price when there is at least one existing registration will trigger archiving of the ticket.
If you follow the tutorial, then the lock will be released and it can be removed.
The suggested actions worked. Thanks. It might be handy to create a simplified solution on the backend for removing those in the future. I know most people are going to want to go in and mess with all the database settings.
That is good news Matt. It works as it should but doesn’t account for test registrations that are later deleted so we may end up creating a small utility plugin to handle it.
If we allowed changes to every ticket (even those with registrations), then it could result in a lot of inaccurate transactions.
