I am having so many problems when it comes to Expresso. I have version 3.1.32.2.P and this is the error that I am getting. After I create events, I cannot edit those same events. I tried disabling ALL of the plugins, including expresso addons, changed to a different theme, and even tried to edit the wp_config.php file. ALL TO NO EFFECT. I went the extreme route and deleted the plugin and thought that I removed everything, but when I reinstalled the plugin, all of the information repopulated and I cannot fix this problem no matter what I do. I just installed this a few days ago and haven’t done anything except add two events. Please help.

Michael, I am sorry for your trouble. We would like to help you with this. Can you please post the error message you are receiving and let us know the steps you are taking to recreate the error? |

Hi Michael, Can you let us know what the error messages are that you are seeing when you go to edit an event? When you delete the Event Espresso files, the event data stays in the database (if it was automatically erased, it would be kind of difficult to update to the next version without losing all the data.) So if you wanted to start fresh with new event data, you can delete the database tables that have the word “events” in them. It may help to check the Event Espresso>system status page and install the Event Espresso requirements plugin and check to see if your server meets the minimum requirements to run Event Espresso: |

Thanks Jonathan, and Josh for your replies. To replicate the problem, thats just it. I didn’t do anything different, install any new plugin or anything since I uploaded the files via FTP for expresso. This is the error that I get when I click on edit in event overview. h2owls.grbusinessgroup.com/images/event-summary.png. The full edit screen does not appear, just the summary, but as you can see, there are no buttons to save or anything else. This is the event overview main page, here. h2owls.grbusinessgroup.com/images/event-summary-2.png. I don’t know what else to do. The ONLY other plugin that I have enabled is Contact Form 7. I tried deactivating that plugin, and I still get the error. How would I clear the database of the other plugins that I had installed? I know that once you deactivate or delete a plugin, the data still remains. Should I also try that method and do a clean install of the plugin? I don’t know what could of happened. Thanks for your help |
Hi Michael, From the first screenshot link, it looks like there is an PHP error that’s preventing the rest of the page to load. It may help to turn on debugging in the wp-config.php file to see if any specific error messages display. Is this a single site installation of WordPress -or- is it installed on a Multisite network? |

Actually, the UTC setting in the Event Timezone feature may be breaking this. Can you try disabling the Event timezone feature? If you plan on using the Event timezone feature, you will need to set the WP Time Zone setting in WP>Settings>General to a city (not UTC). |
