we are using the multi event registration add-on.
We got the problem that after signing in for any event and getting the checkout page that tickets we booked for an event are still on the event card. So users have to delete the event card manually before signing in for any other events…
I hope you guys will understand our problem and have an idea how we can fix it…
It looks like you have removed the [ESPRESSO_THANK_YOU] shortcode from your ‘thank you’ page, is that correct?
That shortcode is a critical shortcode as it takes care of finalizing the registration, it looks like you’ve removed it to display some custom text but that means the user session remains open which is why their tickets remain in the cart.
If you go to Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Critical Pages
All of the pages there must show Page Status OK and Shortcode OK for EE to function correctly.
So the first step to fixing this is to fix the thank you page and add the correct shortcode to that page. If you want to customize the output we can help with that, but the shortcode must be in use.
