I was wondering if there was a way to determine an email whitelist so that only whitelisted emails can subscribe to a particular event. The solution can be either by specific email user@example.com or by only domain *@example.com
Or you can exclude emails that cannot register for an event from a blacklist [or for specific email user@example.com or for only domain *@example.com].
I had looked for some answers among the examples but I have not found anything

This is not something we currently have available within Event Espresso.
We have multiple filters within the checkout process which would allow for a developer to create some custom code for this.
For example, they could use the AHEE__Single_Page_Checkout__process_reg_step__attendee_information__process_reg_step hook to hook into the registration process and compare the email address used against a list blacklist/whitelist and the halt/allow the processing.
However, as mentioned this is not something we have available ourselves so will require custom code. If you are not working with a developer currently we have some who are familiar with Event Espresso listed here:
