‘Default setting for User Creation on Registration’ is set on ‘no’. But I cannot set the ‘default role for User Creation on Registration’ on no or none. I have to chose a role and that is not what I want. I don’t want people who buy tickets, if not a member, to be registrated. Is there a solution for this?
‘Default setting for User Creation on Registration’ is the default setting used when you create a new event, each event can set if that even should create users when registering and the above is the value used when you initially create an event.

You can’t set a role to ‘No’ because if you create a user, it needs a role. If you don’t create a user you can’t assign a role to it (because the user doesn’t exist) so the setting there has no effect if you are not creating users.

Yes, don’t create users and then whatever is selected as a role does not matter.
As mentioned each event can override the default setting you set above, so go to Event Espresso -> Events.
The setting you want to look for is ‘Auto Create users with registrations?’ and it should be set to ‘No’.
You’ll need to check that for all of your current events and make sure it is set to No on each of those.
