September 12, 2016 at 10:56 am Dear Support, I have been using EE4 for the last one year and I am very happy with the software. It really help my business. Recently I have upgraded all the software components. I have bought the license to “Everything” last year and I am using the following: Website: http://www.JennyBakery.sg I have researched for a long time before I post this support, I did find some answers but it does not solve my problem. Github Question: In the registration page, I can have the default for user LastName,FirstName,Email. I just cannot seem to default the “phone”. Can you advise if this is possible at all? Appreciate your help. |
Hi Lawrence, Is your Phone number question a custom question that you added to a question group, or is it the one that’s added by Event Espresso when you first activate the plugin? |

Hi Josh, thanks for replying. I am using the default Phone fields. I do not not any new custom question. Take note that I am using UserPro. Appreciate your advise soonest. Thanks |

Hi there, Event Espresso does not pull in information from user meta or other plugins, so it will not pull the ‘Phone number’ value for the field set when registering onto your site using UserPro, to do that would require custom development. The code here: https://github.com/eventespresso/ee-code-snippet-library/blob/master/addons/eea-wp-user/jf_filter_address_answer_for_wpuser.php Will pull the information once the user has run through a registration once and added the phone number to an EE field. |

No, you add code snippets to a functions plugin or into your WordPress theme’s functions.php file. |
