I have an Installation of EE4. After configuration my default Events archive page (http://domain.tld/events/) and the events itself (http://domain.tld/events/Lorum) doesn’t work. I get the message “Page not found”. Any body an Idea how to fix this?

Fixed it, I use the add-on Event Espresso – People Addon (EE 4.5+). I deactived and activated the add-on and it works. Why? I don’t know, maybe EE can look for it?

Hi there,

I’ve not been able to reproduce this on any of my test sites.

Right now if you load /events/ with the People add-on de-activated it loads correct?

If you then active the People Add-on and refresh /events/ does it just stop loading?

I had tested it on a test site and after that on production. When I deactivate de People add-on it works, and after activation of the add-on, it still works. But I hope that when I do some changes the whole configuration will work.

It sounds like you may have needed to flush your permalinks.

When a new post type is added or the slug is changed you need to ‘flush’ your permalinks by going to:

Dashboard -> Settings -> Permalinks.

Making no changes and simply saving the settings.

EE will attempt to do this for you when needed but sometimes you will need to do it manually.
