It seems that with EE4 I can get a date record of transaction changes (when a payment was made or refunded) – but I don’t see the same date stamp on just registrations.
We recently had a client cancel as the very last moment and we cannot “prove” the date that they canceled. We have a policy to only give refunds if the cancelation is more then 48 hours out from the event. Problem is, we can’t seem to prove via EE when the registration was canceled.
Currently EE4 does not allow users to cancel registrations from the front end, they need to contact the admin to do so. I’m guessing the phoned through to cancel and the admin manually changed the status?
I do not believe EE stores details of changes made to the registration status but I will check in with the developers to confirm.
