So the problem I am having is two fold. First the data validation should reject blank registration form entries. Second is that the data you register with displays but so does the data from a previous event attendee. This is causing quite the challenge and confusing to attendees registering. Can you shed some light on how I go about fixing this. Thank you!
The problem is that your site is loading jQuery twice, one being the correct most up to date version that is shipped with WordPress and the other being a much older version.
Having two different versions (or just two copies) will cause issues.
Right now it looks like the older version is “winning” and that means some of the more modern code is breaking.
I am 99% positive that the theme is loading the older jquery.
As it is a custom theme you may wish to contact the developer to fix it by asking them to remove the hardcoded version of jquery that they are loading.
Thanks Dean. The custom theme developer isn’t responding to my requests for assistance in solving the issue. Is this something that could be handled by a member of your team if I buy a support token? Please let me know.
Thanks. Jocelin
I’m not sure that the validation isn’t working. I tried submitting an empty registration form and the validation worked as expected. Here’s a screenshot.
With the other issue with the 2 sets of data displaying, can you let us know where it’s displaying on twice? Is that on a payment page or something?
