Hi Folks.

I was told by Seth that Josh or Tony would be able to help me here while he is away.

I have a site running using event espresso latest EE3 release. I have built a new website and before I go live with it, I’m going to need to stop the old site from selling tickets and then migrate all the shows and attendees and well all of the EE data from the old site to the new site. I thought I would try this now and then just do it again when it’s time to go live. It’s critical that the data be current when launching the new site.

Eventually the site will be under the same domain name however for now, development is happening in a folder on that same domain name.

Hope you can help with some real good detailed instructions

Josh

Hi,

I recommend letting the WP Migrate DB Pro plugin handle all the work and fiddling that this will involve. It works great and you’ll save a lot of time and frustration over migrating everything over manually. There’s more info here:

Josh this is great. And I have it installed, however I need specific instructions on how to migrate the espresso data over if you would be so kind. And keeping in mind that this site has pretty much every added plugin.

I think a lot of people would benefit from this as well. Seems to be a lot of migration questions.

Cheers Josh.
