Hi, I’m new to Event Espresso. I’ve got it installed and got the events to output just fine. The issue is when I view the event there is no styles to them at all. Is that by design?

If I want to really customize the look what is the best way to add my custom CSS?

I’ve tried to add espresso_default.css to my /uploads/espresso/css/ folder and that does nothing. I’m just looking for the recommended way, I’d prefer it to be in a CSS file.

I can force a CSS file in my footer.php file but figured there was a better recommended solution for stylizing Event Espresso.

Thanks!

Hi Kevin,

I would add those changes to a child theme’s stylesheet (if you are using a child theme) or through a plugin like Simple Custom CSS or Reaktiv CSS Builder.

That will ensure that your changes are not lost when you update.
