I’ve skimmed the forum and documentation with limited success in determining how to customize templates in EE4 easily.
I’m attempting to have control over page layout for my single event page.
I’ve been successful at moving the ticket selector to a widgetized side bar because it has a short code and my theme easily does this.
It seems EE4 is short on short codes for the other event elements like event description, event dates, event location etc.
I also wish to understand how to remove the ticket selector from the main loop as I now have it displaying in the sidebar so i don’t need it to also appear under the event featured image and title.
I’m using EE 4.4.5.p on WP 4.0.1 with PageLines DMS 2.1.9 theme.
My theme supports child themes and actually makes it easy to have layout control, but I’m having trouble understand how call event elements into my widgetized areas.
I do have a widget that will run php or js on any wp page but I don;t think I’m using the right code cause I get errors.
I just viewed your link and I’m only seeing a ticket selector in the sidebar.
Were you able to get this removed via the templates?
