We’d like to customize the thank you page related to check and/or invoice payment methods. Specifically, modify the text and button within the Yellow “Congratulations” box at the top.
We’d like it to simply say “Congratulations. Your registration has been successfully processed. A final invoice will be sent shortly.” We’d also like to remove the button that allows you to view the order confirmation and invoice.
That thank you page is display for all registrations regardless of the payment method they use, you can change the text easily using a translation function but it will be changed for any all registrations.
Do you not want to use the ‘Order confirmation’ (Receipt) at all?
I ask because you can disable the receipt message to remove the button from the thank you, this then also changes the Congratulations text (and therefor the method used to change that text).
You do that within Event Espresso -> Messages -> Settings.
Under the HTML tab you’ll find a ‘Receipt’ message, drag that to the inactive box and then refresh your thank you page, you should notice the button has been removed and the text change to ‘Congratulations. Your registration has been successfully processed. Check your email for your registration confirmation.’
