Hi,
we are a team of event leaders. At the moment we have all the information tripled:
– One Picture, Description, etc. in their Profile from “Ultimate Member” plugin for registration and login
– One Picture, Description, etc. on a “About us” page and
– One Picture, Description, etc.. in the People Add-On of Event Espresso
Who can I use the People Add In to get the information from the Ultimate Member Plugin, such that every user can update its own profile information?
Also I dont want to modify the link, not forwarding to a own “people page” but to the “about us” page or even better: to the Ultimate Member profile.
Or is it then better not to use the People Add-On?

I’m not sure I follow what you are trying to do here, where in the people add-on do you want to pull details from Ultimate member?

It really depends on the specific setup, the People add-on assigns ‘people’ to events but if you wanting to manage everything through say Ultimate member, then you may not want to use this and control it yourself.
Whilst you can modify the links used by the people add-on, you’ll still need to make sure the data from EE’s people posts either isn’t used or is kept up to do date.
It sounds like you would prefer to manage ‘people’ within Ultimate member and link to their profiles within that, in which case you’ll need something custom to assign them to the events.
