Hello
We are using EE4 to organize different events. Courses, seminars, conferences. We only have invoice as a payment method. Formerly we had some numbering logic for each event time. Form example event type-event date (YYYMMDD) – unique number (2-3 digits). So the end result of invoice number for example for conferences would be CONF-20151023-14 next invoice CONF-20151023-15 and so on.
Is there a possibility to make this happen? I am more concerned about letter parts for event type and YYYMMDD in the invoice. Sequence numbering after date should not be a mandatory thing if it is unique, but i would like to make it shorter, like 2-4 digits. Perfectly if that could be user id.

While Event Espresso 4 does not have a built in feature that allows for customizing the invoice numbering as you describe here, there are ways to extend Event Espresso via hooks and filters.
