I would like to know if it’s possible to edit the content in the critical pages that are generated by EE, Specifically
– Checkout page: Button name
– Registration approval page: Congratulations & Important notice message

Hi,
One way you can edit the content there is with the TranslatePress plugin. You can download the plugin here:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/translatepress-multilingual/
or install the plugin from your WordPress dashboard’s Add New Plugins page.
Then, you can test a registration for the same event to get to that page, then click Translate page. Then you click on the green pencil icon to edit each string of text.
Here’s a screenshot that shows an example of editing the content there:
