You go to Event Espresso > Messages > Default Message Templates, then click the link to edit the “Ticket Notice” Message template. Please be sure to click the Help tab on that page which includes a list of all the shortcodes you can use in that template.
Thank you Josh. Although when I add the following (after the Print your ticket(s)!:
Hello, [RECIPIENT_FNAME]:Print your ticket(s)! The name of the event: [EVENT]This also can be used for the name of the event: [EVENT_NAME]The title for the event venue: [VENUE_TITLE]
It won’t save. I am wanting to display a more meaningful ticket notice.. Like Hello,…. Print your tickets for EVENT at VENUE
The reason the shortcode validation will not allow saving is because the shortcodes are not available in the section of the template. You can use only the available shortcodes in each section. In other words, you’ll put this shortcode into the Main Content section instead: [EVENT_LIST]
Then put the following into the [EVENT_LIST] section: The name of the event: [EVENT]This also can be used for the name of the event: [EVENT_NAME]The title for the event venue: [VENUE_TITLE]
If you’re wondering which shortcodes are available in a section, you can click on the menu icon next to each template section.
