We’re using EE 3.1.37.18.P and would like to add additional information to the confirmation email received by the admin. Is this customizable?

Hi there,
The Admin emails are not easily edited within EE3, to do so requires modifying a core file/function used to generate the emails.
You would need to modify event-espresso/includes/functions/email.php starting line 412 but that change will be lost each time EE is updated.
When we designed EE4 we created the messaging system in a way that allowed for users to edit all messages sent from Event Espresso within the admin.
Is there a feature in EE3 preventing you from updating to EE4?

Thank you. Unfortunately, Recurring Events is a requirement for us and the way EE4 implements them will not work for our organization.

Ah, ok.
Then yeah modifying the above (and reapplying those modifications if EE is updated) is currently the only way to update the admin email in EE3 at this time.
