I have added text to a custom ticketing Template, which is selected for my event, however when I click on the ticket link in my registration email, none of the text shows up.
It looks like you need to update to the latest version of the tickeing add-on, which is currently 2.0.10.2.P
Also when you look in your custom ticket’s index.php, you will need to make sure that the [ticket_content] shortcode is somewhere inside the file. The version that is included with the ticketing plugin has this on line 77.
Am I able to update the plugin without purchasing the add-on? At this time, we do not want to use the full capabilities of the ticketing add-on, just the ticket Template.
If I am unable to update the plugin without purchasing it, I will try adding in the [ticket_content] and see if that works.
It might work to change what’s in your current ticket template but I wouldn’t be too surprised if version of the ticketing add-on you have installed now (which was an older beta build) isn’t compatible with the current version of Event Espresso.
Please note that we can only offer support for current versions of the software. In order to receive support for any ticketing features you’ll need to purchase the ticketing add-on and update to the latest version. Any and all of the ticketing functionality (including the ticket templates) requires the ticketing add-on.
