How do I remove a custom template and start over using the existing Expresso we already have?

Hello Terri, custom templates in terms of customizations are likely to be in this location which can be accessed using your preferred SFTP / FTP client (e.g. FileZilla, Cyberduck):

/wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates/

Instead of deleting, try renaming any files in that location by adding a .old to the end of the file.

Then if you change your mind in the future, you can easily restore those files.
