I created some custom questions on my registration form how do I get those question results to print on the customer receipt? |

I need the custom questions to also show in all emails and on the thank you pages – |

Can you link me to a test registrations receipt so I can view this? (Or an event I can register onto to view it with my own registration)
Again, most of the registration emails should include those details by default. Which email are you missing those details from currently? (Note, some emails don’t include those details by default as they are not directly related to the registration, for example, the Payment Received emails)
To add those details to the thank you page you are going to need custom development as its not something we include within EE due to the various other locations those details are shown.
We’ll need to view the thank you page to troubleshoot this further, is there an I can register onto? |

Ok, your receipt message template was generated using Event Espresso decaf, which does not have the custom questions functionality, so the current template does not call for custom questions. If you have not edited the template, you can use the reset templates feature to regenerate the template using the ‘regular’ versions templates. Assuming you are using the default receipt template, go to: Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default message templates -> Receipt -> Edit Purchaser. In the sidebar to the right is a ‘Reset Templates’ button. Clicking that will reset the template back to the receipt template back to defaults and include the additional shortcodes for you.
Which custom template? The current receipt template for that event looks like the default template (although it’s the default from decaf). |

Great that worked — but the email with the subject: Your Event Registration Details Which message is that — as the questions are not displaying on that email |

That’s the Registration Approved message template. Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default message templates -> Registration Approved An important note here (likely not important right now, but will be if you edit any of the templates) is that when you reset the templates, you reset all of the ‘contexts‘ for the current message type. That didn’t matter with the receipt as it only has one, but others have multiple contexts. |

ok last question i think — how do i send a copy of the event receipt to an additional person or event staff? |

We don’t actually send the receipt so may I ask which message you want to send to another user? I’m guessing Registration Approved? Is it the same user for all events or does it change? |

it would be the same user and she needs a copy so she can keep track of who is signed up for the workshops (custom questions) |

Ok, so a copy of the Registration Approve message sent to the event admin would work? If so you can add the email to the CC field of that message: Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default message templates -> Registration Approved -> Edit Event Admin Set the CC field to this additional user email address and they’ll receive a copy of that email, is that what you are looking for? |
