Yes the premium version allows you to add custom questions. These include text fields, textarea fields, radio buttons, dropdown lists, date fields and checkboxes.
It doesn’t matter which version you purchase as they all contain the same core plugin, which has this feature.
You may want to check if you need any additional addon plugins, as the EE4 Personal licence does not come bundled with any addons, they are all sold separately.
Thanks Dean. I just upgraded, purchased Event Registration Software for WordPress (EE4P). I logged out of wp-admin, logged back in, but when I go to back manage Registration Form and click on the Group Questions tab, it still prompts me to upgrade.
The pre-sales support rep had told me purchasing this license would allow me to add one group of questions per event.
Hi Lexi, you can start using Event Espresso 4 right away. Login to your WP dashboard and go to Plugins. Then deactivate and remove Event Espresso 4 decaf.
This removes the plugin and keeps your existing event information.
Next, go to this link and click on Event Espresso 4:
That will download a zip file to your computer. Go to your WP dashboard and then to the Plugins screen and click on Add New –> Uploads. Then browse to the file on your computer and begin the upload. Once it is finished, click on Activate.
You’ll be prompted to migrate your data to the latest version. Go ahead and do that. Then you’ll be able to access the new questions area via the registration form menu.
Also, here is a link to your support license key for Event Espresso:
Copy it and paste it into Event Espresso –> General Settings and save changes. That will enable one-click updates for your site.
Thanks
