Is there a way to integrate custom printed tickets into Event Expresso event registrations?

Yes there is, the Printable tickets add-on adds a way to do this. More information here:

I’m already using the printable ticket addon and it works great.
My question was for tickets created outside of the addon. What if the club prints fancy tickets at a print press to sell in house and at the door only. How could I integrate those if they have bar codes or qr codes?

I’m afraid the tickets for Event Espresso don’t really work that way. For example, if you print a custom ticket that has a QR code on it, with the intention of selling at the door, the information from the decoded QR code would not match an existing registration code in the system.
