Custom Message – Social Media Shows In Preview, Not In Emails

We have created a custom message for the Registration Approved message that show up fine when we preview them. In the actual email that the registrant gets, the social media; facebook, twitter, linkedin words show and the link works fine, BUT, the colored button around the words are not there.
On the ‘preview’ screen the buttons show fine, not on the emails.
Amy ideas?

We corrected it by changing the html to the format the email service could understand. Thank you for the followup.
