Hi I have a friend who’s looking at doing something like these payment pages for events he’s running http://sarkodie.com/workshop-secure-payment-and-registration-form/

I was wondering if it was possible to have drop down lists which then affect the total price based on the options they’re selecting. i.e. for this dummy event he wanted to offer camping and glamping and extra costs..

Is it possible to generate these kinds of pages in event espresso?

I’m trying to decide between ee3 and ee4 will ee3 mobile features get carried across to ee4 at some stage or is ee3 still in active development?

Thanks,.
Tom

Hi Tom, the price modifiers add-on could help with that:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/espresso-price-modifier-add-on/

It adjusts the base price up or down depending on what is selecting. It is available for Event Espresso 3.

Could you tell us more about your project’s registration needs?

Hi Lorenzo,
Thanks for the reply. I have a friend who’s looking at doing something like these payment pages for events he’s running http://sarkodie.com/workshop-secure-payment-and-registration-form/

and things like the accommodation drop down he’d like to be able to have that increase the price based on the selected options..

Will EE3 still remain in active development or will EE4 eventually replace it?

Hi Tom, we are fixing bugs in Event Espresso 3 but will not be adding any new features.

We’ll phase out Event Espresso 3 in about two years and we do offer an upgrade path from Event Espresso 3 to Event Espresso 4.

The registration form can be done in Event Espresso. Just a note that it will not appear exactly like that (i.e. everything on a single page). You can see some test events here:

http://testdrive.eventespresso.com/?ee=1204
http://testdrive.eventespresso.com/?ee=1248

An attendee/registrant will select their ticket / pricing option and then they’ll begin registration checkout. Payment information is collected in registration checkout
