I downloaded the zip and tried to install the plugin through wp but it said it failed and “No vaild plugins were found”.

Hi Shannon,
I do apologise, in my previous reply here I stated all the other Add-on’s are installed the same way.
The Custom Files Add-on is an exception to this. However this Add-on may not be something you need.
Not all Add-on’s are needed for all users so I just wanted to check, as the custom files add-on does not provide you with extra functionality, but a method to allow you to override functions within Event Espresso with your own custom ones. Is that something you are looking to do at this time?
