Custom event registration email

Hi there,

I just tried for the past 4 hours to set my outgoing email. I am in EE4. I cannot seem to get it to send out the message I want it to. Can you please give e directions how to do that?

Hi Darin, which message type did you edit using the messages editor?

Was it the default registration approved message type? This one is sent out after a successful registration.

I have edited the registration approved message in the “messages” section as well as in the event itself. I am just adding some text for directions. It works when I send the test email, but when someone actually buys a ticket it does not include the text. Help me please. I am having to email each person individually at this point when they buy a ticket.

Hi,

When you edited the Registration Approved message, did you edit both the Primary Registrant and the Registrant versions?

It might simply be that the customer is receiving the non edited version.

Yes I needed to set the registrant version. Man that took a while to figure out. I have been emailing our customers individually. Thanks for your help.
