Custom Error Message

I want to set up an event registration “error” message. Example…When they select the event and fill out information, I only want a place for a credit card (stripe) payment. I do not want an invoice option. If the attendee does not select the credit card payment button and they just hit submit button, a registration error box pops up. Can I edit that error message so I can give them information to call or email me?

Hi,

Not exactly, but you can add some instructions to the page so they can have that information.

First though, you can make it so they don’t have to select the credit card option. You go to Event Espresso > Payment Methods > Stripe then set “Open by default” to Yes. While you’re there, you can edit the “Description” field and include your contact information if they need help with making the payment. Then you click “Update Stripe Payment Settings” to save the changes.

Then, you can also remove the Invoice option. You click “Invoice” then click the button “Deactivate Invoice Payments”
