Custom Checkout Process – Reducing clicks

Hi there,

I would like to shorten the checkout process as much as possible for both usability and concurrency control reasons.

I came across this post from a year ago:

Hi Jade,

How would you like the registration steps to work?

We added the ‘Open by default’ option to the payment methods to help reduce the steps needed – http://take.ms/bVCR9

If you go to Event Espresso -> Payment methods.

Select your payment method and set the ‘Open by default’ option to yes.

That will automatically select that payment method once the user enters the registration details and click to continue. They can then input their payment details and click to finalize.
