We developed a payment gateway & everything is working OK. However on purchases of over $1000 the payment records generated shows 1 dollar in event espresso (same with 2000 it shows 2) – which must mean the thousand separator is wrong (We use AUD and a comma as 1000 separator). The correct amount is handed to the payment gateway & also processed OK. The country settings are all correct (eg: AUD $ 1,000.00). Can somebody point us where to look. We use EE4.4.7 (can’t upgrade to the latest version in the moment as we have made customisations) |
Hi, could you share the name of the payment gateway? Also, does this only happen on values over one thousand? — |

Hi Lorenzo, 1) We fixed it – floatval didn’t cope with the comma. 2) It’s Westpac Payway. We integrated it the same way as “Mijireh” or “Paypal” with setting pages etc … works great – it generates the payment records according to the reply from westpac (its secure server to server communications). — |

Glad to hear that you fixed it! Out of interest, will you be making the gateway public? |

Do you mean as an add-on? If so what benefit would that be for us? I can see the stripe add-on is $79. – G |

I was just interested as to whether you would be making it generally available as either free or a premium addon, or whether it’s just an in house project. It’s unlikely that we would make this gateway unless someone sponsored the development and we do have a decent sized Australian community from what I can tell, so if it was available I’d make a note that I could refer people to it should anyone request the gateway. |

So how would the process of making it available as a premium add-on work? – G |

Hi, Sorry, I think there’s a slight confusion here, we are not currently taking on addons like that. I was just interested in whether you would be making it available one way or another for other users. We are considering a third party market place for things like this, but nothing has been decided on that yet as there are a lot of considerations. Most people who create addons for EE currently, sell them via their own sites or add them to WordPress.org’s plugin repository. I can certainly put this forum thread in front of the sales team, so that when more info about the marketplace is available we can let you know! |
hi ac, Contact our Sales department (https://eventespresso.com/contact/) and we’ll talk about getting you listed on the Third-party Add-ons page: https://eventespresso.com/third-party-addons/ |
