Hello |
Hello, PayPal should convert from the buyer’s currency into your actual currency. Could you provide a link to one of your events so we can share feedback? — |

Hello again, Thanks for the link. I see that your payments are in AED from Event Espresso to PayPal as we use the currency in the currency code parameter: However, on arriving to PayPal.com it is showing as USD. I’ve tested this locally and I’m seeing the same issue. I tested other countries and I am seeing it hold the currency: Sweden: https://cl.ly/1u1A280j161d Mexico: https://cl.ly/1U000p3T190n According to these pages: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/api/currency_codes/#id09A6G0U0GYK https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_4217#Active_codes …a currency code of AED is valid so I’m not sure why PayPal is switching the currency code on the payment page. I’ve reached out to PayPal support for feedback. You may also want to reach out to them as well. — |

Hello |
Hello, I have not heard back from PayPal support and this does not appear to be an issue in Event Espresso. We are sending AED through the currency code parameter (https://cl.ly/3D3E0M2Y1O3o) which is the correct action based on their documentation. However, on PayPal’s end it is being changed to USD. Have you reached out to PayPal.com support as well? — |
