Hi,

I updated Wp & EE to latest versions today. I’m getting “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” when I try to run CSV report from an event registrations page as a user who has custom roles etc. What role is required to run CSV report?

Thanks

ALan

Hi Alan,

Please try this capability:

ee_read_registrations

HI Lorenzo

Already had ee_read_registrations ticked so its not that one.

Logins from support token still work if you want to check Roles plugin

Hi Alan,

If the user account in question did not create the event, then you’ll need to add the ee_read_others_registrations capability.

Hi Josh,
The user is Author/OWner of event. I’ve also added ee_read_others_registrations. Still getting You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

Tks

Priority Token purchased. Responded to previous email from Lorenzo on similar problems

Hi Alan,

I logged in and from what I can tell, the Roles editor plugin that you’re using is blocking the espresso_support page from the event admin. That’s why you see the Cannot access this route message on the page where it normally shows the progress of the CSV Download. You’ll need to grant access to that page to allow the event admin role to be able to download the CSV Reports. Also, you might check your redirects if you’ve got any redirects set up for the espresso_support page, that will also have an affect.

I’m really not familiar with the Roles editor plugin that you’re using, you might have better success with the Members plugin by Justin Tadlock or the User Role Editor plugin. We recommend either of the two.

Hi Josh,

I’ve switched to Members plugins

1) Can we blocked users from seeing transactions for other events? (admin.php?page=espresso_transactions)
2) Can we hide Management options from side menu (Pricing, Reg Form, Venues, Extensions & Services etc)

Thanks

Alan

Hi Alan,

Removing access via certain capabilities will allow that.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1paQ8gdiZmIpOTJetRtk0_7GZfsWIXkioqrWmXxS4FZo/edit#gid=8

Try removing these:

ee_read_venues
ee_read_default_prices
ee_read_default_price_types
ee_read_venue
ee_read_questions
ee_read_question_groups
ee_read_ee

Thanks Lorenzo,
ee_read_ee disabled the section titles under Event Espresso in menu. It also gave permissions error when I tried to run CSV download.

Hi Alan,

The Extensions & Services menu doesn’t have its own capability so ee_read_ee would be needed to remove it.
