CSV Export missing some custom fields

Hi there, when exporting registrations to CSV, I have a couple of custom fields which are not being exported, even though the data is showing correctly in the EE admin. All my other custom fields are being exported correctly. The only possible thing I can think of is that the same admin labels are being used for some other custom fields – is it possible that the export process is comparing admin labels and skipping duplicates?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Chris, custom questions along with the basic information for a registrant should be exported.

Do any of the custom questions have similar names?

Also, you mentioned that you are on 4.4.3. The current platform is 4.6.x. Are you able to update?

Hi Lorenzo, the custom questions which are missing from the export are using the same label text as some other questions in the form. This obviously isn’t an issue for saving to the DB and displaying in the WordPress admin – but could this be the issue for the export, and if so what can I edit to address this? I had a look at the export class but didn’t see anything obvious.

I would prefer not to upgrade at this point if I can avoid it, just as I have a live event running for the next few days and don’t want to cause any disruption. I’ll update for future events, however.

Hi Chris,

We are no longer developing on the old 4.4.x platform. Do you have a staging site that you can update on to see if this is an issue?
