Using Edge browser, says CSV export of registrations can’t be downloaded safely. On Chrome it just stops with no message. I have completed successfully before |

Hi there, That usually means your site is set to load over HTTP, but then your redirecting the traffic to HTTPS. Go to Dashboard -> Settings -> General. Do the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) fields show as How was the site set to load over https originally? |
|
they show as http |

I would try manually setting them back to HTTPS but it does depend on how everything is set up. If you change them and then can’t access the site it’s easy enough to override the setting by adding:
To the sites Basically, your site is currently set up to use HTTP and then the server is redirecting everything to HTTPS, you should skip that step and just load it all over HTTPS by default. The reason it’s breaking in browsers is some prevent downloads using a HTTP link when the site itself is loading over HTTPS. Firefox does not currently enforce this which is why its working on that specific browser for you. |

thanks, just changing them worked. |

Tony, when I made this change I ran into issues when selecting “return to events list” from the cart. I think changed the settings back to http which corrected this problem, but now the wordpress URL keeps setting to https while the other stays http. With this set 2 different ways, I can download the CSV report. Does this seem right or do you think it will cause other issues? |

Hi there! We are glad you were able to have it fixed. |

I don’t see how to edit what I wrote, but it should say “I then changed the settings back” … not I think, because I did |
