When I download a CSV file the number that appears in the CSV is different to the number of registrations, why is this?

The downloads say
50 rows
50 rows
50 row
30 row
and the complete download bars says 181 or 181 dwonloaded
When I open the file there is only 151 records in the file.
Is there something going wrong with EE?

Hi there,

On the page that you started the CSV report on, how many registrations does it list there? (there is a count at the top of the list)

Also, if you click the ‘Filtered CSV Report’ button rather than the other, is the count correct then?

It registers 180. I filter it to display just appoved – then it display 160. When I download the filtered list. It pulls back 152

Neither way is correct.

The system say –
File Generation complete. Downloading, and redirecting…
Registrations report started successfully…
Wrote 50 rows to report CSV file…
Wrote 50 rows to report CSV file…
Wrote 50 rows to report CSV file…
Wrote 32 rows to report CSV file…
but when you open the file it only has 152 records

Do you have a solution for this or why it is doing this?

Does the system not export duplicate registrations?

My hosting company said I am getting this error for the plugin – See below.
Is this part of the problem

I can see some errors being logged for the plugin event-espresso-core-reg –

I noticed you’ve been working with Josh on this via a support token, but I’ll add some details for future readers

It registers 180. I filter it to display just appoved – then it display 160. When I download the filtered list. It pulls back 152

That is strange, but so far I can’t reproduce it on your site.

Just to add some details, when you filter the registration list you need to use the ‘Filtered CSV Report’ to view report using the current filters.

So if you view the list, set the ‘Status’ filter to ‘Approved’ and then click the ‘Filter’ button, you’ll see a list of registrations that have a status of Approved.

To export that list, you need to click the ‘Filtered CSV Report’ button, clicking the ‘Event Registrations CSV Report’ button at that point will export the registrations it usually does with the default filters applied.

Does the system not export duplicate registrations?

Every registration in EE is unique, some may have the same details for multiple registrations but in the database, they all have their own ID and so are all unique.

So if by duplicate registrations you mean registrations with the same contact details then EE will export those.

My hosting company said I am getting this error for the plugin – See below.
Is this part of the problem

No, that’s not an issue with the CSV reports it an issue with messages.

Are your registrations emails working as expected?
