I installed the Espresso plug-in and all of the additional formatting styles. Anyone else having this issue? Fixes?

Hi there,

Can you explain the issue you currently have further please?

Do you want to add additional custom styling?

No, not additional css. When I install and activate the plug-in all of the fonts across the site are updated to the base fonts and sizes of the plugin. I realize that I can reset these individually and then go back through the site and make sure the sizes are corrected. I was just hoping for a quicker fix.

No you shouldn’t need to do that.

Can you link me to the site so I can see this please?

Hello,

I was able to see your URL from an earlier email.

Could you please re-activate Event Espresso please?

Lorenzo

The plug-in is activated.

Thanks. I had another look at the page and it appears that your stylesheet is being blocked so it isn’t being loaded:

So in this case, Event Espresso isn’t changing the styling, rather that your themes styling is not loading which then defaults to the styling that you currently see.

Do you see the same styling issue if you temporarily deactivate all plugins and reactivate Event Espresso?

I deactivated all plug-ins except Event Espresso and the styles do not work. I deactivated Event Espresso and the styles work.
I activated all plug-ins except Event Espresso and the styles work. Once I activate Event Espresso they no longer work.

Are there any known issues with BeTheme?

No, there are currently no known issues with BeTheme.

Can you send us a copy of the theme so we can take a look at what is happening? If so you can use support[at]eventespresso.com to send either the zip file or a link we can use to download the theme.

Just sent the theme with plug-ins installed.

There will be a lot of dynamic css that I will have to replace to work around this error. At that point we may have to look at another plug-in.

Hi there,

I installed the theme on a couple of test sites, installed and activated all of the plugins included within the theme and activate Event Espresso. The dynamic styles generated by the theme where en-queued as expected and worked without any problems.

If you enable WP_DEBUG do you see any errors relating to Event Espresso shown on the pages? Or maybe within the server error logs?

Have you created a support tickets with BeTheme to see if they can provide any ideas on what could be causing 403 forbidden on their style.php and style-colours.php files?

Can we switch out support license to a staging domain so the theme support can test?

You could, but you don’t actually need to switch out your license for this.

If you manually install the latest version of Event Espresso on your staging site then leave the key field blank on that site it will work the same as live.
