On the critical pages and shortcodes admin dashboard all of the pages and shortcodes say “status okay.” I have checked and all the pages are created and the shortcodes exist on the pages. However, when I click on view page I get a 404 Error. What do you think is the issue? Thanks! |
Hi there, Are the pages Published and not in Draft mode? |
|
|
Yes, they are published and set to public. Not sure how this is related but when I try to register for an event I am also getting a 404 error. |
Okay. Can you try to reset your permalinks? Go to Settings > Permalinks > Select Post Name, then click Save. Let me know if the issue still persists. |

Problem persists. |
Hello, Do you also see this issue if you temporarily disable other plugins? You can temporarily disable all plugins through WordPress admin –> Plugins. Then reactivate Event Espresso. From here, go to Settings –> Permalinks and re-save your existing settings. Also, could you share a link to an event page? — |

Deactivated all plugins except EE4. Problem persists. |
Hello, this is your events listing page: http://astdcascadiatest.org/events/ Here is one of your single events page: http://astdcascadiatest.org/events/trends-in-visual-design/ Could you please completely remove this page through WordPress admin –> Pages: http://astdcascadiatest.org/events/events-registration/ — |

I deleted the page and now I am getting a “Page visibility” error on the critical pages dashboard. I am also still getting the 404 error on all the other critical pages. |
Could you please create and share a temporary WordPress admin login so I can take a closer look? https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/ — |

Corrected by removing a duplicate shortcode and changing an existing page’s slug from /events/. |
