We added MFA to our Square account, and at EE’s recommendation we disconnected Square and then attempted to reconnect it. We receive a message that we successfully authenticated with Square and are prompted to complete the authorization process. When we do that we receive a this error: “There has been a critical error on this website.”
At this point we cannot process transactions so it’s urgent that we get this resolved.
I have deactivated and deleted the EE Square Gateway plugin and then downloaded it from your site and uploaded it to our website again, and I’m still having the issue.
I’m not sure why the one-click update for Event Espresso core is not working. Can you try:
– manually downloading the core update for Event Espresso from your account page
– deactivate Event Espresso
– upload the new version
– activate the new version
I should have clarified. There’s weren’t any errors related to Event Espresso either around the time I was trying to finalize the authorization.
