In AffiliateWP I have set a Referral Rate to be a flat rate of $3, as opposed to a percentage so that we may offer an affiliate program of $3 per ticket. This I have learned however, results in affiliates only earning $3 per order, not per ticket. Switching to a percentage is not ideal for us for other reasons. Is there any special code your developers can offer, that results in Affiliate considering each ticket a referral sale?
I have installed the AffiliateWP add-on and from what I understand reviewing: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/affiliatewp-add-on/
there are no settings. I have also learned that it does not show up in the AffiliateWP Integrations section. On the Integrations list, Event Espresso is not listed with the 30 or so plug-ins they list and AffiliateWP nags all users in Admin that there are no active integrations. Thought I’d point this out, is this normal? You might want to consider having it count as an integration unless I am experiencing this in error.
I was looking at the AffiliateWP instructions and they call this a “per product referral rate” (https://docs.affiliatewp.com/article/63-setting-referral-rates), and it looks like it would require the Event Espresso AffiliateWP integration support this. I’m sure a lot of organizers would like to be able to offer a flat rate commission per ticket, not just per order. Another feature that you might consider adding is allowing a different commission rate based on the Ticket ID, such as VIP ticket sales earn affiliates a different flat dollar rate than General Admission.

Yes that’s normal.
Any customizations to the AffiliateWP integration add-on would need to be done by a third party, and you could contact the folks at Codeable.io for a quote.
