Hi – during our event registration process, the credit card fields are missing and will now allow anyone to enter their credit card information to proceed to finalize checkout. We are using Authorize.net as our payment processor. I can’t figure out what the issue is, HELP!! |
Hi Mary, The issue is someone added some CSS to your active theme that’s set the payment input fields to https://www.evernote.com/l/AAQfFosuzjRNho2Ee6uJ5e5zjaa-0iAmcU4 |

Hi there, Your hiding the available payment methods within EE using CSS in your themes style.css file – http://take.ms/XVorO Line 6862 to be exact – http://take.ms/fIF2j Remove that from your themes styles and the checkout will work as expected again. |

Do I need to remove the lines for that alltogether or change the ‘display: none’ to say say something different? |
|
I was able to remove the line of code and get it to show up, but cannot figure out how to make the changes stick. I saved the style sheet and then reuploaded it and I thought that would do it, but it didn’t. How do I make a permanent change to the CSS? I inherited this site with no prior WordPress training so I am learning as I go. |
That should be all you need to do, you may be editing the incorrect file. Can you post the steps you took above? As this is preventing your registrations I can remove that rule for you if you prefer, you can send over FTP details using this form: |

I was able to get our hosting site to get the issue fixed last night. I provided them with your suggested solution and they were able to get it fixed. |

I was able to get our hosting site to get the issue fixed last night. I provided them with your suggested solution and they were able to get it fixed. When I did it, I removed the line of coding alltogether and then pressed save on the style.css sheet. It saved a .css file on my local computer and then I did the upload and amend a style sheet, but it uploaded the same sheet as a duplicate instead of uploading over the existing style.css sheet. |
Great, I’m glad your host could get this fixed for you. If you run into any further problems just let us know. |
