Hello, I would like to create a coupon campaign with EE4 that needs to deliver the following: How would you recommend me to set this up in EE4? I have the promotions and discount codes add-on but I am not sure if it is designed for this purpose. |
Hi there,
You would need to manually create these codes and then distribute them.
When you create promotion codes within EE you set a discount amount, you mentioned about this was 20% but it looks like you would like to give the user 10% off then provide the shop with a referral fee, is that correct? The current promotions system is not designed for this kind of setup. You could provide 10% discount codes, then manually calculate the referral fees for the shops, but you would also need to create a batch of codes for each shop so that you knew which discount belonged to which shop. |

ok, so once I create these 300 codes, would I need to enter each code one by one to the promotions add-on? Are you working on an easier uplaod tool? |
Do you want each to only be applied to specific events or can the code be used on any?
We do have a batch upload tool planned yes however it is currently not available. |

each code should be possible to use on any event. |
In that case when you create the event you’ll want to set the ‘Apply Promo to ALL Scope Items’ option to Yes. This will allow the promotion code to be used on any event without you needing to select individual events within the promotion code. Like this – http://take.ms/Q7xyR |
