Good Morning,

Since a few days ago we can not edit or create events, it gives us an error 504 Gateway Time-out nginx

and in the pages of logs we see the following errors multiplied

[Mon Oct 22 22:29:18 2018] [error] [client 83.58.167.93] [host salonesguiapenin.com] Script timed out before returning headers: admin.php, referer: https://salonesguiapenin.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_events
[Mon Oct 22 22:29:30 2018] [error] [client 83.58.167.93] [host salonesguiapenin.com] AH10141: FastCGI: comm with server “/homez.376/salonesgqb/www/wp-admin/admin.php” aborted: idle timeout (300 sec), referer: https://salonesguiapenin.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_events
[Mon Oct 22 22:29:30 2018] [error] [client 83.58.167.93] [host salonesguiapenin.com] AH10149: FastCGI: incomplete headers (0 bytes) received from server “/homez.376/salonesgqb/www/wp-admin/admin.php”, referer: https://salonesguiapenin.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_events
[Mon Oct 22 22:29:30 2018] [error] [client 83.58.167.93] [host salonesguiapenin.com] AH10157: FastCGI: An error happend on Fastcgi processing, fallback to CGI, referer: https://salonesguiapenin.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_events

We do not want to modify the event, since tickets are being sold, we simply want to create a new one ….
Do you have any idea why this happens?

Hi,

In WordPress specifically, 504 Gateway Timeout messages are sometimes due to corrupted databases. You could make a backup of the database, install WP-DBManager and then try the “Repair DB” feature, followed by “Optimize DB,”.

Also, consider contacting your website hosting company. It’s possible that the 504 error that your website is returning is due to an issue on their end that they’ll need to resolve.

We have verified with a clean installation that the problem is in the database, to which we connect the production database, it does not allow us to create events. DB-manager or WP-Optimizes does not solve anything …

Can you tell me which tables affect the creation of events to compare both tables and see that part of the structure is dañana? …

Thank you

Hi,

The tables that are written to and read from when using the event editor include:
_esp_datetime
_esp_datetime_ticket
_esp_event_message_template_group
_esp_event_meta
_esp_event_question_group
_esp_event_venue
_esp_price
_esp_status
_esp_ticket
_esp_ticket_price
_postmeta
_posts

and if the MailChimp add-on is activated, the
_esp_event_mailchimp_list_group
table will be used.
