Hello, how do I Create an event that has an optional “add on” item for an additional cost. I need it to work where someone has to first buy the $195 original event ticket and then has the option to add an additional event service under the same event for $95. I have an EE4 Personal License. Thanks |

Hi Jeff, We have had feature requests for ‘add-on’ items like this and have been tracking the number of requests for it but currently, the only way to create an add-on item like that within Event Espresso itself is to use an additional ticket type, for example: Admission = $195 The user then selects the correct ticket type to proceed through the registration. — The other option is to use a 3rd party add-on called the price modifier add-on here: https://aparnascodex.com/downloads/price-modifier-for-event-espresso-4/ That add-on adds values to questions that when selected during a registration are added to the transaction, which sounds like what you are looking for. Note we aren’t affiliated with the above and don’t provide support for it ourselves. Its an add-on we were made aware of so pass it along when users request something similar. |

Hi, Okay and can you please give exact step by step instructions on how to create this “additional ticket type” in EE so that people can choose between the two ticket costs: |
Which version number of Event Espresso are you currently using? |
It looks like 4.10.4 – see this screen shot |
In the options on the right-hand side of the event editor, you will want to set the Maximum Number of Tickets per Transaction to 1 so that they get a radio button for one or the other. |

It’s pretty straight forward: |
