I have a test event set up, and it is working properly under the main tab of my site that is for “Current Courses”, but I also have a drop down under here titled “test course” (my course’s title), that brings me to a 404 page. How do I fix this? |

Hi Chelsea, Could you try logging into your WP dashboard and going to Settings –> Permalinks. That will refresh permalinks on your site. Does the link then begin to work? — |

Hi Lorenzo, |

Hi, Can you provide an accessible link to the page with the drop down menu on please? |
how should I do that if the site isn’t live? |
|
Hi, The site that is linked to your license key is behind a maintenance “Under Construction” page. Is it possible to open this up for us so we can test? |
|
I can temporarily put it live, or I can send you the credentials to work in the back end, which is best? I need it up and running by May 8th, so I would really appreciate any help! ๐ |

Hi, could you temporarily lift the maintenance mode? Also, if you haven’t had a chance to do so, please try temporarily deactivating all plugins and then reactivating only Event Espresso software to ensure that this isn’t a conflict with another plugin. Thanks — |

Ok, you should have access now! |

Thank you. I found another test event that works (e.g. test-course2) so this may be an old link or an event that was trashed and deleted. Are you able to see this event (i.e. new-event) in the event editor within your WordPress dashboard? If not, could you update the link through WP-admin –> Appearance –> Menus. Then remove the old link and add a new one and save changes. — |

Thanks so much, looks like I have it working now! |
