Hello and not so happy new year.. haha
I’m on Version 3.1.36.6
I get this error message when testing regular coupons (not social coupons):
Sorry, voucher code spring15 is either invalid, expired, has already been used, or can not be used for the event(s) you are applying it to.
First, there is no way to set an expiration date, not is there a way to set number of uses, so this error message makes no sense to begin with.
I tried deleting the coupon and starting over. No luck
I tried editing the coupon and got this error message:
Array ( [coupon_code] => spring15 [coupon_code_price] => 15.00 [coupon_code_description] => [use_percentage] => Y [apply_to_all] => 1 ) Number of vars: 5
Number of cols: 5

Hi Mike,
Are you setting the codes as global or not global? Did you change the settings accordingly in the event setup for each of the events?

Hey Jonathan,
Yes the coupon codes are set to global. I didn’t realize that each event had to be manually set to accept coupons. That’s a pain. Doesn’t make much sense to make a coupon “global” and then go into each of my 100 events and click the switch. Is that the way ait works?

Hi Mike,
It works this way to allow for some events to not allow promo codes at all. This is useful when someone wants to allow promo codes for one event, and not allow promo codes for another event.
