Country settings keep changing back, as well as time zone changes.

hi,
im trying to set my country settings to the Netherlands, becouse suddenly all te curency is set to USD in stead of Euro before.
but now every time i save the settings, when i refresh the page its going back to Default.
how do i change BACK to euro’s?

Also the times of my evends keep changing every fiew months. so when we plan a lot of events ahead, this couses a lot of problems.
why does this keep hapening?

Hi Dennis,

It sounds like you are setting the country in Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Countries, that section allows you to change the settings for each specific country (for example set the currency that a specific country uses) but does not set EE to use that country.

EE will use the country you set in your organizations address.

So if you go to Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Your organization

Do you have the correct country set there?

Note you may need to enable the country to show in the dropdowns in the section I mentioned above – http://take.ms/KSsbZ

Then set that country as your address – http://take.ms/Oag5J

why does this keep hapening?

You currently have your site’s timezone set to ‘UTC+1’ rather than a city which is likely causing this problem.

Go to Dashboard -> Settings -> General -> Timezone

Set the timezone to a city closes to your location and save. Then recheck your event times as they may need to be corrected, after that you should not have any further issues with times.
