In the Invoice and CSV generated, the country code displayed is the country Code. ie ZN US KE. I need this to be displayed in full. What do i need to do. In The Invoice I have the following shortcode Kind Rgs |
Hi there, Currently, I don’t think you can but I’ve created a ticket for some feedback from our developers on this. Can I ask why you are using a custom question for country? The system address questions include country and that field will parse to the country name rather than the ISO code. |

I am using the system country question. the export for the country is using the ISO Code instend of the country name even in the CVS. |
Hi there, May I ask are you sure you’re using the system Country question? The reason I ask is because I checked the website linked to your support license and I do not see the system Country question included on the registration form. |

I have enabled it. I had disabled it until i can get a work around. Kind regards |
It looks like your site is using a “Country” custom question instead of the “Country” system question. If you go to Event Espresso > Registration Form > Questions you should see question ID 8 with the admin label “Country – System Question”. That’s the one to use to get the Country name displayed in the CSV and get the Country to appear in the registration’s Contact record. |

Somehow i can see the question but on the Group Question the country is not listed. What have i missed? |
|
The country is in the Address Group and not the Personal Group. Is it possible to have the Country in the Personal Group? |
It’s actually only possible to have the Country field in the Address group. You can uncheck any of the unneeded questions in the Address group, then assign the Address group to your event to use the Country system field. |

Josh Thanks, I have followed your workaround and it has worked. However the old country data has disappeared. The CSV and the Contact details now are displaying the full name of the country. Kind Regards |
It should be noted that using the default fields for their intended purpose is not a workaround. Can you explain what you mean by “the old country data has disappeared”. |

Noted on the workaround issue. I had a custom country column that i was using on the form. I had to delete the custom country column so that i can use the system country field. Once i deleted then all the data held by the custom country column was deleted. |
You didn’t actually need to delete anything. Instead, you could have unassigned the question from the question group to make it so the question no longer appears on the form. |
