Country list issue with AIM payment

When I go to my website and try to pay for an event via AIM, then it only shows handful of countries. I’ve to manually change the status “Country Appears in Dropdown Select Lists” in the general settings. Why does this happen?

Anyway, I found another post on this forum about how to update the SQL query to fix it.
Here’s another problem I’m facing.
Asking the customer to add a state or province doesn’t make any sense.

Out here Switzerland shows a “?”
Why doesn’t it auto populate it depending on the country a users selects?

Hi Meg,

We do not have every state/province for every country (https://eventespresso.com/wiki/install-new-state-province-packs/#installation). That is why a registrant/attendee has an option to add their state/province if it does not appear there.

That ? may be from a prior entry that a customer added and then it was approved.
