I missed homecountry to enable for showing in Dropdownlist. |
Hi there, Do you have a screenshot or a link to a page that shows where they’ve changed their language? |
|
|
Yes – https://www.dropbox.com/s/008oci19115qsnm/Screenshot%202016-03-30%2023.44.50.png?dl=0 With Paypal Test there is also wrong language interpreting with german typo Ü Ä Ö which is sent to customer in code: “Frühbucher Tageskarte Freitag, 8.7.16 for Seegespräche” |
Hi there, That section is not for countries, its for ‘states’, counties, provinces etc. (which you may not use) So right now within this section – http://take.ms/2dJDW You’ve added countries as provinces of Germany. The selection box shown HERE are the countries you have enabled on your site. So before moving further, do you want those countries they you currently see available for selection from that dropdown? |

Yes, now i understand, i mixed up countries and provinces… We do not use Province, we need to use states or countries, looks like this right now |
|
Sorry had a look in backend, on right site there is indicated states where this is enabled different countries with internat. region code like DE, AT, UK and german letters into fields… But at cart drop down these countries show up in english…. |
That’s not what that section is for. If you go to Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Countries. Select German, on the left you have the option ‘Country Appears in Dropdown Select Lists’. If that is set to Yes, then that country appears within the Country dropdown. Now on the right, you can add ‘states’/’provinces’ for that specific country (in this case Germany) So, any country that I have selected Yes for that option is displayed… So on this site I have Canada, Colombia, Germany, UK & US enabled. Here is an example of my UK country – http://take.ms/cbghh Now on the registration form each of thouse countries is displayed – http://take.ms/ubhYb Within each country I can set specific states, provinces etc that I want to have enabled. So if I add a TestingProvince to the Germany provinces, like this – http://take.ms/kj6P0 That Province is now shown within the ‘States’ dropdown – http://take.ms/4qGRO (You don’t have this enabled on your registration form currently so you don’t see it) Basically Event Espresso allows you to setup which countries are available in the Countries dropdown, then it allows you to add states/provinces to each individual country to allow you to display various different options. The States/Province setion within an individual country is not used to allow you to set which countries are available to select for the country. |

So i do not understand what to do now. |
For Austria Go to Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Countries. Select Austria in the dropdown – http://take.ms/bIWNx Set the ‘Country Appears in Dropdown Select Lists’ option to Yes for Austria and save the Country setting at the bottom. Now Austria will be displayed within the Country dropdown. You can also translate the country name when doing this – http://take.ms/SWKDw Translate the country name field when making the above changes and save. Whatever string you set in that field will be displayed within the country dropdown – http://take.ms/iZp5u Then simply repeat these steps for each of the countries you want to enable within the Country dropdown. |

I switched off all countries on the right in the General Settings -> Countries. Now the country-provinces field in the registering formular active and now get weird list of countries with some big list of Austria provinces. |
Within Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Countries. Select Austria and you will see the list of provinces you have enabled for Austria. |

Ok – now i see there is a whole lack of understanding your system. The backend is not intuitive, thats is what is needed to know…. Thanks anyway |
|
Sorry – now with your help i got it…. Now how to delete a country in a given List is a miracle left to me…. |
I’m not sure I understand what you are asking, you want to remove a country from the list? Just set the ‘Country Appears in Dropdown Select Lists’ to No for that country. |

|
Sorry again, i was looking for deleting unwanted countries, now only i know, has to happen one by one…. Thank you |
